The moons surely rising, the stars are a glidingAnd Mr. Sandman is ready to roamHurry off to bed and put your pillow under your headHe might just be visiting you tonight at homeDrifting off to sleep is such a wonderful featAdventures you'll enjoy on your ownMaking new friends on a journey to no endA secrete life that is yours all aloneDon't be afraid of those gobble lee goo'sOr those pirates drifting to sea on their boatsThere's no need to worry there just in your dreamsLike rainbow clouds and cotton candy floatsOh that sky's full of colors of make believe wondersExciting every step of the wayCan't you let me stay for just a little bit longerPlease, don't take my Dreams a wayTo see this through a child's eyesOn the path to where stars brightly beamThrough a different world of twist and twirlsWon't you come to my Milky Way DreamsWe could have so much funUnder an ice cream sun and laugh our time awaySing some M & M songs the whole day longUntil we awake to brand new day

Throughout our lifetime here on what we call planet earth, some of the things that we might come across are moments of regret, disbelief, uncertainty and so much more which would seem to break down into that old saying, If I Only Knew. A phase that has been said over and over by so many.
This story should be more about learning examples of that phrase such as, If I only knew why my mind would make me crazy day after day. If I only knew why sadness seemed to follow me through-out my life like a shadow that would never go away no matter where the sun light would shine. If I only knew why my tomorrows hurt even more than my yesterdays. If I only knew why my pain from so very deep within, would cut like a knife. If I only knew why these tears that fall from my eyes like a fast moving river seemed to drown me in my own sorrow yet when they stop, I still cry silently deep down inside. If I only knew why my life would become so confusing and so damn strange. If I only knew why sadly, something's don't ever seem to change.
This is a cry from the lost and weary, a pain that is so indescribable that it can break someone straight down to their core. Wondering if someone has heard their pleas or does their pleas really matter much anymore.

If I only knew why when I reached out to you Jesus, it seems as if you are just not there. If I only knew, did you in some small way really feel my pain and torment, and If you Jesus, heard my Prayers. If I only knew why and how much longer I would need to hold on to this daily struggle. If I only knew why sadly, something's seem so unbearable that at times I was so scared, I felt as if I would go insane.
Now as I walk along this journey to a destination of who knows where. Confused by it all, with a soul that is downright tattered and torn and beyond repair. It was then that I screamed out your name and said Jesus, I can't do this all on my own anymore. It was at that moment that I heard a voice clearly say, don't worry my son, I'am here, right beside you, and you were never alone. It was then right at that moment when the feeling of pain and loneliness turned into hope, and faith.
It is amazing how the exact same words can have a totally different feeling. It is amazing how the exact same words can change someone's life. Simply said, how the exact same words can lead someone on a new and different journey, and yes, it is amazing, how the exact same words can change the heart, mind and soul of someone just by these simple words, If I only knew. Yes, if I only knew that you would never leave me and always be by my side. If I only knew that your love would grow greater with every tear I cried. If I only knew that your love dear Jesus would always and forever remain with me and If I only knew, that all the things could be possible with you Jesus, IF I ONLY KNEW.
